The tiny island of St. Lucia was recently hit by Hurricane Tomas.
Charlie and I taught workshops there for 8 years. We have many friends there.
One of our members lives in St. Lucia. She and her family are fine. The Southern end of the island was hit the hardest.
People are missing, 12 people have perished. Communications are limited. Roads are impassable.
St. Lucians are a warm, humble people. We have always felt welcome on St. Lucia.
Anything our members can do to help would be so appreciated.
I know I always give to a special worthy charity, especially, at this time of year.
It will be a difficult Christmas for the people who have lost so much in this tragedy.
I am posting a link to a FACEBOOK page where donating info is available HERE
This disaster, does not seem to be getting enough attention in the media.
Thanks
